Singapore law is an ass

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If any country is worth it's salt, they should at least be able to enforce their laws. Singapore is unable to enforce their laws which makes it an ass. Singapore law is an ass.

When I visited Singapore in 2008, I was charged with insulting a public servant, which is, Judge Belinda Ang Saw Ean for writing a blog post in this blog, about her flagrant bias as a judge during the Lee Kuan Yew, Chee soon Juan defamation case.

I was arrested tried convicted and sentenced to 3 months in jail. The purpose of punishing me was obviously to prevent Singaporean readers from reading any criticism by me, about their judges.

The judge in my trial, Kan Ting Chiu, clearly stated my offense to be very serious and therefore the need for a harsh sentence of 3 months imprisonment.

Related to this case, also in 2008 in Singapore I was brought to court again charged with contempt of court for statements I had made in court in another earlier case.

I admitted the charges and apologized in return for their not further punishing me. I also undertook in open court not to write any further criticism about them or their judges ever again in my life. The purpose of this case, once again, was obviously to stop me from ever criticizing them so that Singaporeans will not be influenced by my writings.

But immediately after leaving Singapore, at the first opportunity, I have not only continued to criticize the judge in question which occasioned my being sent to prison for 3 months, Belinda Ang Saw Ean, I have done it many times over and with even greater force.

Furthermore I have repeatedly pointed out that the entire Singapore judiciary is corrupt, as was seconded by the International Bar Association recently in their report. I have given detailed instances of how the Singapore judiciary disgracefully distorts the law in favor of the Lee Kuan Yew government, which therefore discredits it completely.

Furthermore I have retracted the apology I had given to the judge in the contempt case and deliberately violated the court's order by repeating my accusations against the Singapore judiciary and re-posting blog posts in this blog which they had earlier ordered me to take down. And these actions have been clearly stated in this blog, which is being read by a large section of the Singapore population as well as their government.

Therefore if the intent of the Singapore government in all these actions was to prevent Singaporeans from reading what I write, it is very clear that I am deliberately thwarting their purpose.

Not too long ago, presumably angry at what I am doing, they have commenced in absentia disciplinary proceedings against me to have me disbarred in Singapore, which I am sure will happen very soon. To that end they have been doing a great deal of work and expending a large amount of time and money to make their disciplinary proceedings look legitimate.

But it should be quite clear to them that even if I am disbarred from practicing law in Singapore, which I am sure is going to happen, I have no intention of stopping my writings which will go on as they do now.

So has anyone ever asked the Singapore government whether they are serious of enforcing their laws or are they quite willing to allow anyone outside their jurisdiction to break their laws any which way he wants, and that their laws will be enforced only within Singapore and violations however serious, such as mine will go unpunished if the perpetrator is outside Singapore.

I think many would agree that the recent elections where the share of votes for the government dropped to just 60%, the lowest level in Singapore's entire history, was partly due to this blog's large readership in the country. From the statistics provided by Google, from May 2009 up till now, this blog has been visited 226,290 times by Singapore readers alone, followed by the United States, Europe and countries all over the world.

I would have thought that if indeed I was breaking Singapore's laws as they claim by repeatedly insulting their judges, any other country intent on enforcing their laws would have taken real steps to stop me. There is the avenue of extradition, through a request by them to the US government pointing out that Gopalan Nair is wanted by them for serious criminal offenses and that I should be handed over.

Particularly serious is also my deliberate breach of an undertaking given to their judge not to repeat any criticism about them or their judges and my re-posting blog posts which I had taken down under the court order.

From their failure to do anything, and their helplessness to stop these blog posts from being read in Singapore, and helplessly having to sit and watch as I continue to write about their judiciary which is nothing more than an extension of their government and the abject lack of the rule of law, only shows that Singapore law is an ass.

Singapore is simply unable to enforce their laws outside Singapore, which clearly goes to prove that their legal system and their judges have lost all respect and credibility and this blog will further increase the disaffection by Singaporeans against Lee Kuan Yew and his party, heighten emigration by Singaporeans to western countries, and increase even further the opposition's popularity in Singapore.

Dear Sir,

A lot of narrow-minded petty Singaporeans who look down on you after your tactical act of apologising to the puppets, I am not one of them. In fact, I am glad that you go back on your words and continue to criticise the despot and his bootlicking judges.

Just because Singaporeans have to "endure" the inhumane laws that serve the rich and slap the lesser mortals, doesn't mean you have to.

The world is full of examples of heroes, undercover agents and brave people who will do similar things as you to achieve greater goals - such as telling people what really go on in Lee garrison island.

Your works are...incredible. They tell loads more truths than the obvious liars in the PAP.

"The workers party are part of the PAP." -Lee Kwan Yew

"There are no beggars in Singapore." -Lee Kwan Yew

"We are the only party in Singapore" -Lee Kwan Yew

"Singaporeans are happy because we gave them 'adequate' housing (pigeon holes)" -Lee Kwan Yew

"All singaporeans must go to school, for it will make them smarter" -Lee Kwan Yew

To the above quote, it is a lie because Singapore's schools are a dumping ground for retarded people in Singapore. Retarded people become teachers, who 'teach' (as in keep children busy with) retarded repetitive worksheets. After all, Lee wants to make an impression that he is good, but he doesn't care about the future generation of children. No wonder they want to vote for the Workers' Party.

Chan Chun Sing

And so it continues on in Singapore.

Chan Chun Sing is the nephew of Lee Kuan Yew.
That's why Chan Chun Sing was placed in Tanjong Pagar GRC to get
back-door entry into 2011 parliament.

The thing is the crooked Lee family hid the blood ties and hope the daft Singaporeans will never know about another blatant case of
nepotism.

PAP stooge's logic.

PAP MP for Nee Soon GRC Dr Lim Wee Kiat

In an interview with a Chinese tabloid on the matter, Dr Lim said callously:

“If the annual salary of the Minister of Information, Communication and Arts is only $500,000, it may pose some problems when he discuss policies with media CEOs who earn millions of dollars because they need not listen to the minister’s ideas and proposals, hence a reasonable payout will help to maintain abit of dignity.”

The voters in Nee Soon must be proud of themselves.

All Singaporeans living in Singapore, please take heed:

The troubles you are facing in Singapore are either your fault or your parents fault. Let me explain. I grew up in that blasted country I do not want to call “my country.” So much pain and suffering, that I fled to the west and am a happy US citizen and am PROUD to call it my own, unlike Singapore, which is where I was born. Yes, US has its problems, but is a paradise compared to Singapore, as are other western democracies.

Please note, immigration borders are tightening and these days it is getting increasingly difficult to emigrate. There was a time when borders were so open, but you or your parents made the foolish mistake not to take advantage of it and trusted LKY and his PAP stooges.

If you were born in the 50s, 60s, 70s, up until 1980, SHAME ON YOU. You had the opportunity to leave, but chose to stay and bitch and bitch and do nothing. Yes, you would have faced consequences like JBJ or Chee Soon Juan, if you squeaked a dissent, but who stopped you emigrating and leaving this police state for good?

Those of you born after 1985, I am sorry, you are not to blame, you are too young and were born too late to emigrate. Blame your parents for their foolishness in keeping faith with Singapore and the PAP and LKY and making you suffer like this. Foolishness is all it is, sorry to say that….

Those of you who are left in Singapore, your only hope is to migrate to the few countries with slightly more friendly borders like New Zealand etc. Perhaps try Eastern Europe etc and then try to slowly move into other places. Tough yes, but borders are shutting down, sad to say

I was born a few decades ago my parents, bless their hearts, could have done soooo much better for themselves and my siblings had they left earlier. They had multiple opportunities to leave. Like typical Singaporeans, they ignored these overseas opportunities, trusted the PAP and voted them, and kept on complaining afterwards. I was the youngest and the only son. After they saw first hand the pain and brutalities my peers and I suffered in National Slavery (I.e “National Service”), they suddenly woke up and emigrated. Fortunately for them (and my siblings), borders were still open. I followed them and moved to the US. They express so much regret that they did not move earlier….

I knew growing up in the 70s and 80s Singapore, that the people were getting squeezed. It was getting WORSE in the early 90s and we all knew that by the new millennium, things will be unbearable. In the 80s and early 90s, emigrants were purjaratorily referred to in Singapore as “disloyal,” now they are called “quitters. Call us what you like, we have a better life here in the west and life in Singapore sucks. That is the bottom line. “West is definitely the best,” when compared to Singapore, REGARDLESS what the Strait Times propaganda blares on a daily basis. Please forget the propaganda and open your eyes to reality….

You face foreign talent competition, rising costs, an iron-fisted government, no freedom, low wages and high cost of living, nepotism and many other ills. My question is could you not see this coming? What did you expect? Yes, these were there before, but could you not have seen that the PAP will only get more and more brazen and hold your lives to ransom?

Sooo sorry guys, you or your parents made a fatal mistake not emigrating when opportunities beckoned in the 70s, 80s and even until the end of the century. In this new era of the 21st century, borders are tighter and immigrants are less and less welcomed. I am very sorry. I feel for you, sad but true…

Sincerely
Jackomo Finanae-- IKO!

Lee Kuan Yew era is not over. I am not referring to his son's reign. I am referring to his arrogant nephew, B General Chan Chun Sing, waiting by the sideline. Very much a chip from Lky blockhead without the chrisma.

A new post LKY dawn will continue where LKY left off. It will be the same old shit.

Singaporeans, endure or fight. It is your choice.
