Singapore's Lee ruling party's hitman, Attorney General Tan Boon Teik dies.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There are some in the world who would do any amount of evil, for career and profit. There are degrees of evil inflicted on the innocent. In the worst cases such as that of Adolf Eichmann, Hitler's right hand man to polish off the Jews, it was executing 6million of them in gas chambers. Then we have other forms of harm such as the Singaporean kind.

Singapore state controlled newspaper Straits Times online edition of March 11, 2012 has the story "Former Attorney General Tan Boon Teik dies at 83". He was the Attorney General of Singapore in Lee Kuan Yew's dictatorship from 1967 to 1992, nearly 30 years, during which time, he used his office to systematically arrest and imprison innocent Singaporeans who were targeted by his master Lee Kuan Yew as political threats.

Many law abiding citizens who opposed Lee's government were routinely branded as communists and imprisoned under the Internal Security Act, beaten, tortured, and finally released to society when they were destroyed both in person and spirit. Other methods were suing them for defamation of character using malleable judges or fines and imprisonment through contempt of court cases. Under him, as it is today, the principle use of the law above anything else is to keep the Lee ruling family in power. Rule of law was entirely irrelevant.

His sole purpose was to please Lee Kuan Yew, the Prime Minister and his boss from whom he took his orders. This he did with clockwork efficiency.

His victims were too many to list. In my case, he was responsible for charging me for contempt of court merely because I had suggested at an election rally in 1991 in Bukit Merah Singapore as a Workers party parliamentary candidate that the procedure for appointing Subordinate courts judges should be changed for an impression of fairness. For this I was ordered to pay $8,000 in fines and $13,000.00 in costs. Up till now I have not paid the costs.

Again at this time, he initiated Singapore Law Society disciplinary proceedings against me after which I was suspended for 2 years all for writing a letter asking him to explain his reasons (which made no sense) for refusing the late JB Jeyaretnam a pardon after his exoneration by the English House of Lords.

It was these proceedings which finally made me to leave Singapore permanently because I felt I could do much more for the cause of Singapore's freedom from outside than from within the island.

What damage done to me was only a fraction of others like JB Jeyaretnam who suffered great hardship through his banality of evil.

Unlike Eichmann who was eventually brought to justice, Tan Boon Teik escaped by dying. His name will live in infamy among the annals of those cruel and callous men who profited through the Devil. Singapore's former Attorney General Tan Boon Teik is one such man.

[edit] Life
Born Heinz Wolfgang Richard Sonnenfelt to Jewish parents in Berlin in 1923, Richard was eventually driven from his homeland by the harshness of the Nuremberg Laws. In 1938, his mother was able to deliver Richard and his brother Helmut to Bunce Court, a boarding school in England. After Germany attacked England in 1940, he was interned in England as an enemy alien. Sonnenfeldt was sent to a prison in Australia, then released. On arrival in Australia he gave his name as Wolfgang Heinz Israel Sonnenfeldt.[2] He emigrated to India and then the USA, arriving in April 1941 and reunited with his family in Baltimore. (His brother, not treated as an enemy alien because he was under age 16, obtained passage from England to the U.S. Their parents escaped from Germany to Sweden and made it from there to the U.S.)
In the U.S., Sonnenfeldt finished high school, was drafted into the U.S. Army, became a U.S. citizen was sent back to Europe as a U.S. soldier. In 1945 following the Battle of the Bulge, he was in combat action. In April 1945, he briefly entered the liberated Dachau concentration camp in Germany and saw many dead bodies and near-dead survivors. After Germany's surrender, he was working in an Army motor pool in Austria when General William J. (“Wild Bill”) Donovan, head of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), recruited Sonnenfeldt to be his personal interpreter because he spoke both German and English fluently. Donovan soon became the first deputy of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson, who had been appointed by President Truman to serve as U.S. Chief of Counsel for the prosecution of Nazi war criminals. Sonnenfeldt moved with Donovan into that project, first to Paris and then to Nuremberg.
In 1946, Sonnenfeldt left Nuremberg and the Army and returned to the United States. He studied electrical engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, graduating first in his class. In his subsequent careers, he was part of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) team that invented color television, involved in work for NASA on the moon landings, a senior executive at the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), the dean of a business school, and inventor and holder of many patents, among other things.
Sonnenfeldt's memoirs, first published in Germany, were published in English in 2006 as Witness to Nuremberg (Arcade Publishing). Sonnenfeldt was interviewed for the 2006 BBC docudrama Nuremberg: Nazis on Trial and many other documentaries.
Richard Sonnenfeldt died on October 9, 2009 from complications of a stroke at his home in Port Washington, New York at the age of 86.[3]

Please see the bio of Richard Sonnenfelt about whom the Utube of anonymous refers.

Truly for a man to act his entire career like that of Tan Boon Teik it has to be one of total lack of integrity, shame, self respect or even the basics of humanity.

It can be equally said of Lee's judges such as Belinda Ang Saw Ean, Judith Prakash, the former Judge Sinnathuray, newly appointed judge Quentin Loh and the Lee ruling family's entire bandwagon.
