Ladies and Gentlemen,
This was a joke the British spy George Blake told his niece about the Communists but equally applicable to Lee Kuan Yew. It should go like this:
At a PAP meeting in 1955, Lee Kuan Yew tells his audience "Comrades when the PAP come to power, life will be so good, everybody will have strawberries and cream". Everyone there applauded except one. A lone hand went up and she said, "But Sir I don't like strawberries and cream" to which Lee Kuan Yew replied "When we come to power, you will like strawberries and cream!"
