Singapore. The cause of freedom will overcome Lee Kuan Yew's dictatorship. That much is certain.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In a contest between good and bad, the good will always prevail over the bad, truth over falsity and freedom over servitude. That much is certain.

And it should be no different in Singapore.

Take a few examples. Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew pays himself $3.7 million a year and perhaps many times more secretly; remember GIC and Tumasek state investment funds books are secret.

So whichever way you look at this, this is plain theft. In this, Lee Kuan Yew is dishonest while truth lies on the side of those who cry foul. Today Lee manages to resist the demands of the people to stop the theft through force, using his power to get away with this dishonesty.

But who do you think will come out victorious in the end? It has to be the truth which is on the side of the oppressed Singaporean.

It is the same with everything else. Lee may convict and imprison innocent citizens who were merely exercising their right of freedom of speech. He may unjustly silence and punish those who lawfully criticise him. He may get the help of dishonest people such as his judge Belinda Ang Saw Ean to misuse the law to punish political opponents. He may control the entire press and instead start publishing propaganda.

But in in every single dishonest act, his success is merely illusory, ephemeral and temporary. This is so because the truth is not on his side. It is on the side of citizens who are oppressed by him through violence and force.

And applying the time honored rule that truth will overcome falsity, one can be sure that in the end evil must falter and collapse.

That is the law. It has always been so.

If LHL and LKY want to paid like executives in the private sector, they must also accept the consequences.

Any CEO who has lost millions through poor investments (e.g. at Temasek, GIC, and things we may not know about), would have been fired by the shareholders.

Is the Singapore treasury the personal piggy bank of the Dear Leader and son?

Cut from the same cloth.

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi
"China's Internet regulations are implemented in order to maintain a stable Internet environment and to prevent harm to people's physical and mental health,"

Similar wisdom from the LKY-LHL clique- "Singapore's ISA regulations are implemented in order to maintain a stable environment and to prevent harm to people's physical and mental health."

With Google, the Chinese dictators may have unleased a genie that they may not be able to get back into bottle.

- The conflict also could fuel trouble for China's companies abroad, where its swollen trade surplus and complaints about trade barriers are straining ties.
- Chinese investments in mining and oil face opposition in Australia and elsewhere.

Duncan Clark, chairman of BDA China Ltd., a technology consulting firm in Beijing.

"Chinese companies abroad will start hitting a ceiling caused by this stuff happening at home," "Being Chinese might be a liability."

Time to start distancing oneself from the Chinese dictators?
