Singapore. Gopalan Nair, a perennial thorn on the side of Lee Kuan Yew's dictatorship

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I suppose Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore is used to abusing the rights of his critics who thereafter willingly fade away and leave him alone. Had I remained in Singapore, this would probably have been my fate too as it is almost humanly impossible to render any further resistance once he embarks on his evil vendetta against you of repeatedly harassing you, imprisoning you, and depriving you of a livelihood. History has shown that this has been the fate of almost every single person who had dared to stand up to his dictatorship.

But the equation is very different if you manage to get out of Singapore. Since the whole purpose is to expose this repressive regime to the world and change both international and domestic opinion against this regime, this purpose is entirely doable from outside Singapore.

The Internet still reaches the Singapore domestic population and the world at large and writing this blog enables me to put forward the other side of the coin from that of Singapore's propaganda in their state controlled newspapers.

It is impossible to judge exactly how many people have been swayed and persuaded against this tyranny but the general trend in the decline of support in the regime is indicative. The population continues to decline with almost non existent childbirth rate, and anyone there is most likely a foreigner from somewhere else. The brain drain of the skilled and educated continues to mount and Singapore appears to have ran out ideas on economic policy which has stagnated over some time.

Lee Kuan Yew has to be told that there are some people who simply don't roll over as and when he pleases. They may get out but continue a thorn on his side.

I urge other Singaporeans who have similarly got of that dictatorship join the drumbeat around the world in condemning this regime. True, there may be some disadvantages from doing this such as being barred from entering Singapore such as in my case, but surely these small inconveniences is a small price to pay in the pursuit of the goal of toppling this regime. Every single person's effort goes a long way to hurt this regime.

Dear Mr Gopalan, you are definitely right about our public servants. Look at Prof Tay from NUS Law School, asking for free sex from his students to pass their exams. Some of his students who got the degrees these way are serving in important positions now. Ng Boon Gay and Peter Lim who were the Director CNB and Civil Defence also asked for sex before they award contracts. Is S'pore still the best in anti corruption or is it the best in corruption? Worse still, the graft busters who arrested Prof Tey, Boon Gay and Peter Lim are themselves of same character. The deputy director of CPIB Ang Seow Lian broke into his female subordinate's house and tried to steal her panties and install pin hole camera. But when he was caught by the police, there was no further action and he was even promoted. Same thing happened when CPIB's Assistant Director Lee Wei Chuan had sex with a subordinate during his time in Ministry of Manpower and gave her promotion after that. When he was found out, his superiors sent him to CPIB to become the AD. Then Koh Teck Hin, the Director of Ops of CPIB is even worse. He had sex with his subordinate Florence and promoted her to be a senior officer in the police force. He was then appointed Director of CPIB Ops. Is CPIB a dumping ground for corrupt offenders? why so many such officers were posted there to be the mgt team?

Why are Singapore Govt whacking Michael Palmer when he only wanted to have sex and nothing to do with his work? So many people other people have sex with their contractors and happening everyday? The River Valley School Principal who had sex with a vendor is now still drawing his salary from MOE and offered a cushy job in the Ministry. Why is this so and Palmer must resign? There are so many such people around. Ang Seow Lian, DD of CPIB broke into his subordinate house and want to steal her panties. Koh Teck Hin, Director of CPIB Ops, has sex with a subordinate and caught with her when they went Genting. But he was promoted. Lee Wei Chuan, AD of CPIB also had sex with subordinate and promoted to head a investigation team.

It seems like senior officers in S'pore Civil service are infected by virus known as "pukiritis."
1. Director, CNB charged for having free sex wit IT vendo;
2. commissioner SCDF. CHARGED FOR THE SAME REAON.;
2. TEACHER(FEMALE) charged for having sex with student; WHAT HAS GONER WRONG WITH THE ONCE UPRIGHT AND CORRUPT FREE S'PORE CIVIL SERVICE? IS ANYTHING BEING DONE TO RECTIFY THE SERIOUS SITUATION IN THE CIVIL SERVICE? IF SO, WHAT IS BEING DONE? CAN ANYONE IN AUTHORITY RESPOND?
